Our children's future is only possible if we stop climate change, and create good jobs for the next generation. The Green New Deal is more than legislation, it is a vision for our future. Calling your governor to ask them where they stand is one step you can take to make the Green New Deal a reality across the country.

THE GREEN NEW DEAL PLEDGE
“The American people need a Green New Deal — as put forth by Senator Edward Markey and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, to stop climate change, achieve environmental sustainability,  create millions of good jobs, and realize economic prosperity for Americans.”    

I pledge that I will use my office to advance and champion in any and all legal ways including but  not limited to: signing bills, resolutions, or other legislation  advancing the Green New Deal at the federal state or local level; voting in favor of such bills and  resolutions in committees, subcommittees, or floor votes; working to build support amongst my colleagues for a Green New Deal at all levels of  government; and publicly advocating for the  necessity of a Green New Deal.”
