Our communities survive and thrive off of dignified employment, clean air and water, caregivers, and access to essential services -- critical infrastructure that we need to invest in as we revitalize our country. 

 

  • Big investments are not enough.The investments in the recovery plan must include highroad labor, equity, and environmental standards. 

 

  • Frontline communities and people of color turned out in record numbers to elect Democrats who promised to act on climate, racial injustices, care, and community investment; unless our leaders fulfill their pledge, voters could lose faith in our elected officials putting the midterm elections at risk.

  • We have an opportunity to sustainably modernize our country’s infrastructure to protect our economy, environment and public health. 

 

  • Congress must use budget reconciliation to pass the investments we need in climate solutions, the care economy, jobs, and justice; and prevent any cuts to the ceiling of $3.5T altogether. Hold the line!
